Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Tashteeby website and apps (iPhone and Android), provided by OZ. By using the service you agree to them and to the privacy policy.

1. Estimates

Tashteeby provides finishing-cost estimates built on market-average prices (Cairo and Riyadh) collected and refreshed periodically by the OZ team. Figures are for guidance only; they are not a quote from a contractor or supplier and not a guarantee of actual cost, which varies by area, unit condition, materials and timing. Always confirm with a contractor or supplier before signing anything.

2. Your account

The regular calculator is available without an account. Plan Studio, Premium and image packs need a single account that works across the website and both apps. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything done through your account, and you must be over 13. You can delete your account at any time from the account page or the app settings.

3. Plan Studio and AI

Plan Studio reads your floor plan with an AI model to extract rooms and areas and compute the cost, and generates imaginative interior renders. Plan reading can be inaccurate (especially with unclear plans or plans without dimensions); you can correct rooms and areas manually before calculating. Renders convey a general feel of style and colour and do not respect engineering dimensions, electrical or plumbing layouts, or building codes, and are not suitable as construction drawings.

Only upload plans you own or have permission to use, and do not upload unlawful content or other people's personal data. You may use renders generated for your account for personal and commercial purposes, bearing in mind that AI output can resemble other users' output and that its copyright protection may vary by jurisdiction.

4. Image credits (packs)

  • Each generated image costs one credit. Packs available: one image, three images, or "full plan" (10 credits), which covers every room of the apartment.
  • Credits are added to your account and work on the website and both apps; they have no expiry date while the account exists.
  • If an image fails for a technical reason its credit is refunded automatically. Credits spent on successfully generated images are non-refundable in cash.
  • Credits are personal, non-transferable, and are removed when the account is deleted.

5. Premium subscription

Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks the itemised bill of quantities and all advanced calculator features, and grants 3 image credits each month while it is active (added at the start of each month; unused credits remain in your balance). The price is shown before purchase and may vary by country and platform.

  • In the apps: the subscription is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play; payment is charged at confirmation and renews 24 hours before the period ends unless cancelled. Manage, cancel or request refunds in your store account settings under the store's policies. Apple's Standard EULA applies: apple.com/legal/…/stdeula.
  • On the website: payment is processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record and Paddle's buyer terms apply. You can stop renewal at any time with the "Stop renewal" button on your account page (and resume it from the same place if you change your mind before the period ends); the features stay active until the end of the paid period. Invoices and payment-method changes are handled through the "Invoices & payment method" button, which opens Paddle's billing portal. Refund requests go to support@tashteeby.com or Paddle.

Subscribing on one platform is enough — Premium status syncs to the website and both apps under the same account.

6. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer the app or copy price data for redistribution, use the service in an excessively automated way, present estimates or renders as official quotes or approved drawings, or use Tashteeby for anything unlawful or harmful to others. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and may pause for maintenance or because of third-party providers. Tashteeby and OZ accept no liability for contracting decisions or losses arising from reliance on estimates, analyses or renders without review by an engineer, contractor or supplier. In all cases our liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms, prices or packs; material changes are published here with an updated date at the top of the page, and continued use means acceptance. Questions: support@tashteeby.com.
